Adams Idea hybrid was the #1 most played hybrid in major championships in 2008'. In fact, the Adams Idea hybrid accounted for over 31% of all hybrids played at the latest 2008' PGA championship at Oakland Hills! That is a great feat in and itself and also tells you where golf is headed -- hybrids are no longer only for the recreational player that has difficulty hitting long irons. The Adams Idea hybrid is a club that will change your game.
Prior to the introduction of hybrids, long irons were painfully used for all long approach shots where a fairway wood was out of the question. Golfers dreaded pulling out that 3 iron whenever they were faced with a long approach shot. Hybrids changed all that and in a big way.
Why just the other day, I missed the fairway and was faced with about a 200 yard shot that had to clear a huge oak tree by the green. I would have dreaded using my 3 or even 4 iron to pull that shot off. I most likely instead would have been muttering to myself "chip and put, chip and put." Instead I pulled out my trusty 23 degree hybrid and nailed it! This makes golf so much more enjoyable.
Adams is a true golfers club maker. Instead of catering only to PGA players, they design and market their clubs for all golfers. The fact that the Adams Idea hybrid is the #1 hybrid on tour also tells you about the quality of Adams -- you can be sure tour players would not be playing a low quality hybrid. One final notch in Adams belt. The Adams Idea hybrid has consistently made the Hot List in the Golf Digest.

What should be the 14th club in my golf bag?
Currently In The Bag:
Driver: Taylormade R580XD 10.5 Degree
3 Wood: Taylormade V-Steel 15 Degree
Hybrid: 2008 Burner Rescue 22 Degree
Irons: Chipshot.com 4 - 9 Iron
Wedges: Chipshot.com PW, GW, SW
Putter: Ping G2 Remedy
I don't hit it very far.
Driver: 220
3 Wood: 200
Hybrid: 175
Irons: 4 (165). There is a 10 yard difference between each. Ex: 9 (115)
Wedges: PW (105), GW (85-90), SW (75)
At this point I'm thinking 2 hybrid or 5 wood. Or maybe an LW...
A lower degree hybrid. Say a 17 degree.
