Any idea how much a fairly good quality polo/golf pullover shirt will shrink (it's 40% polyester n 60% cotton-?
if I have to wash it in hot water and dry it on the high (cotton) cycle in the shared laundry room of my townhouse? Thanks very much in advance to every one of you!
Are you out of your mind????????? NEVER EVER dry such kind of piece of clothing in the dryer, ALWAYS hang it on a hanger to dry ( I use plastic coated wire hangers because I can shape the shoulders). First, I don't think that "hot" water should be used, warm water is more than enough. Second, put it to wash in the *Delicate* cycle, or, even better, if you can, inside a laundry mesh bag, so the threads are protected. Third, use "Woolite", dark for dark colors, or white for light colors. Believe me, my husband has polos and pullovers that are six and seven years old and they look like new.......!!!
